The larva of the single Nearctic species of this genus, Neurobathra strigifinitella, is a leaf miner on oaks, Quercus spp. (Fagaceae); in central Illinois, the adult is common at light in June, in deciduous forest. A detailed account of this insect was given by Heinrich and DeGryse (1915).
